The brief.
Glimlag supports people with intellectual disabilities to live independently: companion care, in-home support, community participation and respite, across Pennsylvania. Families choosing care need to trust a provider before they call.
The site had to feel warm rather than clinical, show the real people Glimlag works with, and make applying for services or for a job simple on any phone.

Editorial designNavy and teal, a serif display face with italic accents, and calm, generous spacing.

Real people, not stock.Glimlag’s own photos of the people it supports, bowling, at Special Olympics and out in the community, carry every page.
Accessible by default.Large type, 44px touch targets, a skip link and a simple mobile menu, because many visitors are family members on their phones.
No page builder.A custom theme in place of a page builder: faster pages, fewer plugins to patch, and a layout editors can’t break.
